Essential Flamenco

Essential Flamenco is located in Calle de la Cruz number 26 in Madrid. It is located halfway between Puerta del Sol and Barrio de las Letras. The Sol metro station is the closest to this establishment, arriving in less than 5 minutes walking. In other words, it enjoys a truly privileged location.

It is situated in one of the busiest areas in terms of nightlife in Madrid. Its dimensions reach 500 square meters, with a maximum capacity of 197 people. Ideal to enjoy the most authentic flamenco live and direct, without frills or decorations of any kind.

It is divided into two perfectly differentiated floors. The second floor, at street level, has a bar-cafeteria decorated with original, colorful and flowery chairs and tables. It also has a small stage where you can enjoy short flamenco performances. It has a bar where you can order your drinks. It also has a closet where you can leave your coat or jacket.

Going down its beautiful carpeted staircase you reach the second floor, the basement, which has capacity for up to 70 seated spectators. It has beautiful and striking vaulted ceilings covered with brick. Its basement hides a cave where you can enjoy its famous flamenco shows with an exquisite sound.

The decoration of its first floor is simple and discreet, a typical traditional decoration of the flamenco tablaos in Madrid. It has a forced ventilation system to guarantee the renewal of the air in the establishment. In this place the amplifiers are left aside, being able to listen to the voices totally clean and with an optimal quality.
